Wynn Calder is the outreach and membership coordinator for ULSF and the
Center for Respect of Life and Environment (CRLE). He also edits the ULSF
newsletter, The Declaration.
Mr. Calder has been with CRLE since 1996. Prior to that he worked at
Harvard
University as manager of the Calculus Office, student adviser, and
Admissions
interviewer. In his spare time, he helped improve the freshman recycling
operation which involves over 1600 first-year students. He was assistant
director of Admissions for two years at Milton Academy, where he also taught
Ancient/Medieval history. For five summers between 1986 and ‘92, Mr. Calder
taught Western Philosophy and Biomedical Ethics at the Massachusetts
Advanced
Studies Program. He has been a mental health worker and researcher in
psychology at McLean Hospital outside Boston, where he counseled and studied
adolescents diagnosed with character disorders. Mr. Calder's editorial
experience includes a math textbook and articles on adolescent psychology.
Mr. Calder received his Master's in Theological Studies from Harvard
Divinity
School, Cambridge, MA. There he focused primarily on the study of
psychology
and religion and world religions. He received his Bachelor's degree in
European History from Harvard University.
