. . . . grounded in the experience that relationship, interconnection and interdependence, constitute the fundamental nature of all things and that courage to live fully in each moment and hope for the future are found in, among and between communities working actively to realize their vision of a socially just and ecologically sustainable human society.

. . . . affirming that the quality of human life is not dependent upon increasing consumption of material goods but is based on those things which have permanence:

	 > the care of the spirit;
 > relationships of justice and equity;
 > creativity, cultural and artistic expression;
 > the opportunity to provide a livelihood for oneself;
 > reverence for all creation; and 
 > celebration of the gift of being.

We seek to live out our understanding that for people of faith living in right relationships of respect, justice, equity and mutuality with all that our common Creator's love has called into being means actively working to realize those values in all areas of our lives.

We are actively engaged in advocacy, education and analysis regarding issues of public policy and people of faith.
